Visitors have a chance to explore the tranquil grounds of a leading children’s hospice.
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) is hosting its summer open gardens day at Milton.
It is taking place from 11am on Sunday, 1st June, and entry costs £3 (free for under-14s). Last entry will be at 2pm.
As well as enjoying a winding trail around the hospice grounds, visitors will be able to browse a plant stall and take part in a tombola.
All money raised will directly help EACH’s vital work caring for children and supporting families across Cambridgeshire and the rest of East Anglia.
“We can’t wait to welcome the public to our beautiful hospice,” said EACH Senior Community Fundraiser Georgia Knight.
“It’s a very tranquil place, and this is an opportunity to showcase it, as well as raising awareness and perhaps changing perceptions.
“Although the public won’t have access to the care floor, they’ll be able to see and enjoy our grounds, and it should be a lovely, fun occasion that provides some insight into life at Milton.”
There will be refreshments, and entry includes free tea, coffee and squash.
The hospice is in Church Lane (CB24 6AB), and visitors can park at Milton Hall (CB24 6DD).
